ATLANTIC EXPERT VM100 L is a vertical electric storage water heater designed for efficient domestic hot-water production in houses, apartments and other installations requiring a reliable hot-water supply. The appliance features a copper sheathed immersion heating element and ATLANTIC O’Pro anti-corrosion technology.
ATLANTIC O’Pro technology uses an ohmic resistor to help balance the electrical potential between the tank and the heating element. This reduces galvanic and electrochemical corrosion and allows the magnesium anode to focus more effectively on protecting the tank lining and heating element. ATLANTIC specifies that O’Pro helps extend the effective life of the magnesium anode while reinforcing tank protection.
The inner tank is protected by ATLANTIC Diamond-quality glass lining. The construction also incorporates a magnesium anode, specific flange gasket, dielectric union, optimised stainless-steel hot-water outlet and pressure-relief safety valve.
The optimised cold-water inlet diffuser distributes incoming water gradually inside the tank, helping maintain thermal stratification between hot and cold water and allowing more effective use of the stored hot water. High-density CFC-free polyurethane insulation helps minimise heat losses between heating cycles.
The EXPERT range provides straightforward temperature control with a front-mounted control, heating indicator, ECO mode for economical everyday operation and an absence / anti-frost function for longer periods when normal hot-water production is not required.
