ARISTON LYDOS PLUS 80 V 1.8K EN EU is a wall-mounted electric storage water heater with an 80-litre nominal capacity, electronic control and intelligent functions designed to improve hot-water comfort and optimise energy consumption. LYDOS PLUS incorporates WaterPlus technology, developed to reduce the mixing of incoming cold water with the hot water already stored inside the tank. Cold water is kept in the lower part of the cylinder and mixes more gradually with the heated water above it. According to ARISTON, this provides access to up to 16% more usable hot water compared with a conventional solution using a tank of the same nominal volume.

The intelligent ECO EVO function learns the user's hot-water habits and adapts the heating cycle to actual demand. ARISTON states that under suitable operating conditions ECO EVO can provide up to 14% energy savings, reducing unnecessary water heating during periods when hot water is not normally required.

The water heater features a SHOWER READY indicator that informs the user when enough hot water has been prepared for the first shower. This means it is not necessary to wait until the entire 80-litre tank has reached the selected temperature before hot water can be used comfortably.

The front of the appliance incorporates an electronic Soft Touch / Smart Display interface. It allows the user to read and adjust the water temperature and view operating information. ARISTON's official information also specifies a front LED interface and high-precision electronic thermometer for intuitive everyday temperature management.

For long-term durability, LYDOS PLUS uses TitanShield technology. The inner storage tank is protected by titanium enamel, while a large magnesium anode provides additional corrosion protection. Together, these components help protect the storage cylinder against corrosion and maintain reliable performance throughout the service life of the water heater.

For the 80-litre version, the heating time at ΔT = 45 °C is 2 hours 11 minutes. Maximum operating temperature is 80 °C, while standing heat loss at 65 °C is 1.35 kWh/24 h. The model is rated energy efficiency class B with an M load profile.

The LYDOS PLUS 80 V measures 733 × 450 × 470 mm (height × width × depth) and has a net weight of 20.5 kg. Its electrical protection rating is IPX3, and it is designed for vertical wall mounting.
