KOSPEL POC.G-5 Luna is a compact electric storage water heater with a 5-litre stainless-steel tank, designed specifically for installation above a washbasin or sink. It provides a small reserve of hot water directly at the point of use and is suitable for washbasins and other locations with relatively low hot-water demand.
POC.G-5 is a pressurised storage water heater. KOSPEL specifies a pressurised connection to any standard type of mixer tap. Maximum permissible supply-water pressure is 0.6 MPa / 6 bar, while hot- and cold-water connections are G 1/2".
The appliance is equipped with an efficient 2000 W immersion heating element and operates from a 230 V power supply. Heating the entire 5-litre tank by Δt = 30 °C takes approximately 5.5 minutes.
Water temperature can be smoothly adjusted within a range of approximately 23–70 °C. The thermostat automatically controls the heating element and maintains the selected water temperature.
The inner tank is manufactured from stainless steel and is resistant to corrosion. Thanks to this tank construction, KOSPEL states that periodic replacement of a magnesium anode is not required.
POC.G-5 has an A energy-efficiency class and an XXS load profile. KOSPEL product documentation specifies water-heating energy efficiency of 38.5% and annual electricity consumption of 524 kWh.
The appliance has an IP24 protection rating, while the specified sound power level is only 15 dB. Compact dimensions of 427 × 285 × 163 mm allow convenient installation above a washbasin even where available installation space is limited.
