DRAŽICE OKCE 80 Electric Water Heater 75 L, 2.2 kW, Vertical, Energy Class C

DRAŽICE OKCE 80 is a vertical electric storage water heater with an actual tank capacity of 75 L and a 2.2 kW ceramic heating element. It is designed for domestic hot-water production in homes and other buildings where a reliable vertically wall-mounted electric water heater is required. The OKCE range is available in 50, 80, 100, 125, 160 and 200 models.

One of the main advantages of the OKCE design is its ceramic heating element, installed inside a protective thermowell and therefore not in direct contact with the stored water. This design reduces the direct effect of limescale on the heating element and simplifies servicing or replacement. The heating element is controlled by an operating thermostat and protected against overheating by a safety thermostat with thermal cut-out.

The inner storage tank is manufactured from steel and protected with an enamel coating. A magnesium anode provides additional corrosion protection. DRAŽICE states that the anti-corrosion layer is resistant to pitting corrosion even in hard and chlorinated water. The tank is factory-tested at 1.5 times its operating pressure.

High-quality polyurethane thermal insulation is installed between the inner tank and the outer casing. DRAŽICE uses Covestro insulation in the OKCE range to help minimise heat loss and operating costs.

The OKCE 80 is designed for a 230 V / 50 Hz single-phase supply. Heating element power is 2200 W, the recommended circuit breaker is 16 A, and electrical protection is rated IP44. The current manufacturer specification gives an adjustable temperature range of 5–74 °C, while the technical manual specifies a maximum water temperature of 80 °C and a recommended hot-water temperature of 60 °C.

The actual capacity of the DRAŽICE OKCE 80 is 75 L. Heating water from 10 °C to 60 °C takes approximately 2.0 hours, while the mixed-water volume V40 is 138.70 L. The model has an M load profile, energy efficiency class C, water-heating energy efficiency of 38% and calculated annual electricity consumption of 1342 kWh.

The heater is 757 mm high and 524 mm in diameter, with a maximum dry weight of 32 kg. Water connections are G 3/4" male, and the horizontal wall-anchor spacing is 450 mm. DRAŽICE has maintained this mounting spacing for many years to facilitate replacement of older heaters. A safety valve with check-valve function is supplied with the heater.
