DRAŽICE OKCE 50 Electric Water Heater 49 L, 2.2 kW, Vertical, Energy Class C

DRAŽICE OKCE 50 is a vertical electric storage water heater with an actual capacity of 49 L and a 2.2 kW ceramic heating element, designed for domestic hot-water production in homes and other buildings. The heater is intended for vertical wall mounting and, thanks to its IP44 protection, can be installed relatively close to water draw-off points.

One of the main advantages of the OKCE range is its ceramic electric heating element. The element is installed in a protective thermowell and is not in direct contact with the stored water. This design reduces the direct effect of limescale on the heating element and facilitates servicing and replacement without draining the entire tank. The heating element is controlled by an operating thermostat and protected by a safety thermostat with thermal cut-out.

The inner tank is manufactured from steel and protected by an enamel coating, while a magnesium anode provides additional corrosion protection. DRAŽICE states that the anti-corrosion layer is resistant to pitting corrosion in hard and chlorinated water. The tank is tested at 1.5 times its operating pressure.

A layer of polyurethane thermal insulation is installed between the steel tank and outer casing. DRAŽICE uses high-quality Covestro insulation in the OKCE range to minimise heat losses and operating costs.

The OKCE 50 operates from a 230 V / 50 Hz single-phase supply, has a 2200 W heating element and requires a recommended 16 A circuit breaker. Its electrical enclosure rating is IP44. The current manufacturer's product specification gives an adjustable temperature range of 5–74 °C.

The actual storage capacity of the OKCE 50 is 49 L. Heating water from 10 °C to 60 °C takes approximately 1.3 hours, while the mixed-water quantity V40 is 80.84 L. The model has an M load profile, energy efficiency class C, water-heating energy efficiency of 38% and calculated annual electricity consumption of 1365 kWh.

The OKCE 50 is 585 mm high and 524 mm in diameter, with a maximum dry weight of 28 kg. Water connections are G 3/4" male, while the horizontal spacing between wall anchor bolts is 450 mm. DRAŽICE has maintained this mounting spacing over the production history to simplify replacement of older heaters.
