ATLANTIC STEATITE TURBO VM080 L is a vertical electric storage water heater with an 80 L capacity and a powerful 2.1 kW dry ceramic STEATITE heating element. It is designed for domestic hot-water production and vertical wall mounting. The STEATITE TURBO range focuses on rapid heating, easy maintenance, tank durability and reliable operation with different water qualities.

The main advantage of STEATITE technology is the dry ceramic heating element, which is installed inside a protective sleeve and therefore does not come into direct contact with water. This limits the direct impact of scale on the heating element and allows it to be replaced without draining the storage tank. ATLANTIC specifies this technology as suitable for hard, aggressive, mineralised and desalinated water.

The inner tank uses ATLANTIC Diamond-quality glass lining for long-term protection and reliability. A magnesium anode provides additional corrosion protection, while a specific flange gasket helps reduce the risk of corrosion around the flange. The construction also incorporates a dielectric union and pressure-relief safety valve.

An optimised cold-water inlet diffuser gradually distributes incoming water inside the tank, helping maintain water stratification and provide a larger usable quantity of hot water. High-density CFC-free polyurethane insulation helps minimise heat loss.

STEATITE TURBO features simple mechanical controls with a front-mounted temperature adjustment knob. An ECO mode is provided together with an absence / anti-frost mode maintaining approximately +7 °C. A highly sensitive thermostat ensures accurate temperature control, while the heating indicator shows when the appliance is heating.

The specific 851233 model has an L load profile, energy efficiency class C, water-heating energy efficiency of 38%, annual electricity consumption of 2699 kWh and indoor sound power level of 15 dB.
