ATLANTIC STEATITE TURBO VM050 L is a vertical electric storage water heater with a 50 L nominal capacity and a 2.1 kW Steatite dry ceramic heating element. It is designed for vertical wall mounting and fast domestic hot-water production. The STEATITE TURBO series focuses on rapid heat-up, easy maintenance and reliable operation with different water qualities.
The STEATITE dry ceramic heating element is installed inside a protective sleeve and therefore does not come into direct contact with the stored water. This reduces scale accumulation directly on the heating element and allows it to be replaced without draining the tank. ATLANTIC specifies that Steatite technology is suitable for aggressive, hard, mineralised and desalinated water.
Tank protection is provided by ATLANTIC Diamond-quality glass lining together with a magnesium anode. The construction also includes an enamel-coated heating-element sleeve, stainless-steel hot-water outlet, optimised cold-water inlet diffuser, dielectric union and pressure-relief safety valve. A specific flange gasket helps prevent corrosion around the flange area.
The water heater features simple mechanical controls, a front-mounted temperature control knob and a heating indicator. It also provides an ECO mode and an absence / anti-frost mode maintaining approximately +7 °C. A highly sensitive thermostat ensures accurate temperature regulation.
The 50 L version has a 2100 W heating element, 220–240 V supply, energy efficiency class C, M load profile and IP24 protection. Heating to 60 °C at ΔT = 50 °C takes approximately 1 hour 31 minutes. Mixed-water capacity V40 is 66 L, while energy consumption at 65 °C is 0.90 kWh/24 h.
According to ATLANTIC's official dimensional drawing, this 50 L STEATITE TURBO version has an overall height of 607 mm, an external width / diameter of 450 mm and an approximate depth of 433 mm. Net weight is 15.2 kg.
