ATLANTIC O’Pro HM200, reference 883042, is a high-capacity electric storage water heater with a 200-litre tank and 2200 W / 2.2 kW heating output. The appliance is designed for horizontal installation and is suitable where a large domestic hot-water reserve is required but a vertical 200-litre tank is impractical.

The horizontal configuration allows more efficient use of available room height and is suitable for bathrooms, technical rooms and other installations with limited vertical space. ATLANTIC’s original documentation identifies reference 883042 specifically as the 200-litre horizontal O’Pro model.

The appliance is equipped with a 2200 W copper immersion heating element. Nominal supply is 230 V, while ATLANTIC technical documentation for this product generation also specifies a 220–240 V operating range.

The full heat-up time for raising the water temperature from 10 °C to 60 °C is approximately 5 hours 40 minutes. This is the specific ATLANTIC technical value for reference 883042.

A key feature is ATLANTIC’s O’Pro anti-corrosion system. An ohmic resistor is used between the tank and immersion heating element to help reduce galvanic current and the effects of electrochemical corrosion.

Additional tank protection is provided by a magnesium anode. The O’Pro system helps the magnesium anode provide more effective protection to the tank and heating-element area, supporting long-term corrosion resistance.

The inner steel tank is enamel lined, forming a protective barrier between the stored water and the steel surface. The enamel layer, magnesium anode and O’Pro system form a multi-level corrosion-protection arrangement.

The construction incorporates a stainless-steel hot-water outlet pipe and a specially designed cold-water inlet. The inlet diffuser manages incoming cold-water flow and reduces unnecessary mixing with already heated water.

High-density polyurethane thermal insulation reduces heat losses and helps retain stored-water temperature. ATLANTIC specifies approximately 1.96 kWh/24 h standby energy consumption at a water temperature of 65 °C and ambient temperature of 20 °C.

Water temperature is controlled by a thermostat. The O’Pro design provides a straightforward and reliable large-capacity water-heating solution without complex electronic controls.

According to the EU EPREL database, reference 883042 has a C energy efficiency class and an L load profile. Declared water-heating energy efficiency is 37% and annual electricity consumption is 2738 kWh.

EPREL also specifies a thermostat setting of 67.09 °C and an indoor sound power level of only 15 dB. ATLANTIC’s original documentation gives a length of 1490 mm, body diameter/height of 505 mm, depth of 530 mm and empty weight of 50 kg.
