ATLANTIC Classic O’Pro HM050, reference 843043, is an electric storage water heater with a 50-litre tank and 1500 W / 1.5 kW heating output. The model is designed for horizontal wall-mounted installation, making it suitable where there is insufficient space for a vertically mounted water heater.

The horizontal design allows the appliance to be positioned higher on a wall or in other locations where efficient use of room height is important. Its 50-litre capacity provides a practical local domestic hot-water supply.

O’Pro Classic uses a 1500 W copper immersion heating element operating from a 220–240 V electrical supply. The copper heating element provides a simple and proven solution for heating stored domestic water.

A major feature of the appliance is ATLANTIC’s exclusive O’Pro anti-corrosion technology. An ohmic resistor balances the electrical potential between the tank and heating element, reducing galvanic current and helping protect the tank against electrochemical corrosion.

Additional tank protection is provided by a magnesium anode. O’Pro technology helps extend the operating life of the magnesium anode while reinforcing overall corrosion protection of the tank.

The inner surface of the tank is protected by ATLANTIC Diamond-quality glass lining. This enamel layer creates a protective barrier between the stored water and the steel tank, contributing to long-term reliability.

The design also incorporates an optimised stainless-steel hot-water outlet pipe and a cold-water inlet diffuser. The diffuser distributes incoming cold water gradually, reducing unnecessary mixing with the already heated water.

High-density CFC-free polyurethane insulation reduces heat losses and helps retain the temperature of stored hot water for longer, reducing unnecessary reheating during standby operation.

Water temperature is controlled by a mechanical thermostat with integrated safety protection. Operation is simple and reliable, while the external thermometer provides a convenient visual indication of tank temperature.

A heating light indicator shows when the heating element is operating. The construction also includes a pressure relief valve, dielectric union and a specific flange lip gasket designed to reduce corrosion around the flange.

According to the official EU EPREL product fiche for model identifier 843043, the water-heating energy efficiency class is C and the declared load profile is M. Water-heating energy efficiency is 36% and annual electricity consumption is 1425 kWh.

EPREL also specifies a thermostat temperature setting of 65 °C and a very low indoor sound power level of 15 dB. ATLANTIC O’Pro Classic therefore combines horizontal installation, simple mechanical operation and multi-level tank protection.
