ARISTON VELIS PRO 50 is a compact, flat-design electric storage water heater designed for wall installation in either a vertical or horizontal position. For product code 3626135, ARISTON's official technical documentation identifies it as the 50-litre product category with an actual water-storage capacity of 45 litres. Therefore, the “40 L” currently used in the product title should preferably be corrected to 45 L actual capacity, or the manufacturer designation “VELIS PRO 50” can be retained.

VELIS PRO is distinguished by its exceptionally slim construction, with a depth of only 275 mm. This allows the water heater to be installed in locations where a conventional cylindrical storage heater would occupy too much space. ARISTON specifies that the unit can be wall-mounted either vertically or horizontally, providing considerable installation flexibility.

The VELIS PRO incorporates two cylindrical enamelled-steel tanks connected in series. This twin-tank configuration enables the characteristic flat design and contributes to faster preparation of the first usable quantity of hot water. The system uses two enamelled heating elements, while two magnesium anodes provide corrosion protection for the tanks.

For the VELIS PRO 50, ARISTON specifies a nominal power of 1.5 kW and a 230 V electrical supply. Official European specifications list two heating elements enamelled with an Incoloy alloy. The configuration is designed to heat the two-tank system efficiently while retaining the compact 27.5 cm overall depth.

One of the most practical advantages is the fast preparation of water for the first shower. ARISTON specifies approximately 46 minutes for the VELIS PRO 50 to prepare the first shower. Full heating time at ΔT = 45 °C is 1 hour 34 minutes, while at ΔT = 50 °C it is 1 hour 44 minutes.

VELIS PRO is equipped with a Soft Touch electronic control panel. The touch interface allows the desired water temperature to be selected and provides convenient electronic control of the appliance. This provides a more intuitive user experience than a conventional mechanical temperature selector.

The intelligent ECO EVO function analyses the user's hot-water consumption habits and adapts heating to actual demand. On its current official VELIS PRO page, ARISTON states that ECO EVO can provide energy savings of up to 15% compared with a conventional electric water heater when used under the intended operating conditions.

The two storage tanks are protected by two magnesium anodes, while polyurethane insulation helps retain heat. ARISTON also highlights enamelled heating elements, developed to simplify maintenance and support long-term product durability.

Maximum working pressure for the VELIS PRO 50 is 8 bar, maximum operating temperature is 80 °C, and the electrical enclosure rating is IPX4. The water heater is rated energy efficiency class B with an M load profile.

Dimensions are 781 × 511 × 275 mm (height × width × depth). ARISTON's current Slovak technical table lists a dry weight of 21.7 kg. Some other regional ARISTON pages list 23.5 kg for the same code; for the specification below, the 21.7 kg value from the current Central European ARISTON technical table is used.
