ARISTON LYDOS WiFi 80 V, code 3201987, is an Italian-designed and manufactured vertical electric storage water heater with an 80 L capacity, 1.8 kW rated power and integrated Wi-Fi control. The LYDOS WiFi range combines electronic temperature management, energy-saving functions, remote control and ARISTON tank-protection technologies.

WaterPlus technology optimises the way cold water enters the storage tank and provides up to 16% more hot water compared with corresponding conventional ARISTON water heaters. ECO EVO, powered by CoreTech, learns the user's hot-water habits and adapts heating cycles to actual demand; ARISTON specifies energy savings of up to 14%.

Integrated Wi-Fi enables remote operation through the Ariston Net smartphone application. The app provides operating control, weekly programming with up to two heating cycles per day, and online notifications in the event of possible operating problems. ARISTON states that optimised operation through the Wi-Fi application can provide energy savings of up to 25% compared with a mechanically controlled appliance.

The ECO EVO function automatically adapts water heating to the user's habits and hot-water requirements. The SHOWER READY indicator appears when enough hot water has been prepared for the first shower. An Anti-Legionella function is also included: a dedicated programme periodically raises the water temperature to 65 °C to help limit the risk of Legionella bacteria development.

Tank protection is provided by ARISTON TitanShield technology. The inside of the tank is coated with titanium-enriched enamel, while an enlarged magnesium anode provides additional corrosion protection. The heater also uses a durable enamelled heating element designed to resist limescale deposits and efficient cyclopentane insulation to reduce heat losses.

LYDOS WiFi 80 V has a rated power of 1.8 kW, a 230 V supply, a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C, maximum working pressure of 8 bar and IPX3 protection. Heating time at ΔT = 45 °C is 2 h 11 min, while standing heat loss at 65 °C is 1.35 kWh/24 h. The unit weighs 20.5 kg, has a height of 733 mm, energy efficiency class B and load profile M.

The official EU energy label for model 3201987 specifies annual electricity consumption of 1284 kWh/year and a sound power level of 15 dB.
