ECOMIX A3000 complex water treatment system, 2.1 m³/h
ECOMIX A3000 is an automatic combined water treatment system designed to remove iron, manganese and water hardness while also reducing ammonium, oxidizability and sulphates.
The system is designed for water with elevated iron, manganese and hardness levels where water softening is also required. ECOMIX technology combines several water treatment processes in a single system.
The ECOMIX A3000 pressure vessel contains a special mixture of ion-exchange resins and adsorption materials. As water passes through the treatment media, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, ammonium and other ions are retained, reducing hardness and unwanted impurities.
The treatment media is automatically restored by regeneration with a salt solution. During regeneration, accumulated calcium, magnesium and other substances are flushed to the drain. After regeneration, the unit automatically returns to normal water treatment operation.
The automatic control valve is equipped with a water meter that measures water consumption and controls regeneration intervals. This helps optimise salt and regeneration water consumption. Operating settings can be adjusted according to water analysis results and operating conditions.
ECOMIX A3000 removes and reduces:
- iron Fe²⁺;
- manganese Mn²⁺;
- water hardness – Ca²⁺ and Mg²⁺;
- ammonium NH₄⁺;
- oxidizability KMnO₄;
- sulphates SO₄²⁻.

Control and components
ECOMIX-A systems use US-manufactured Clack WSEI / WSCI automatic control mechanisms. Ecotar-B20 or Ecotar-B30 ion-exchange and adsorption treatment media are used in the ECOMIX-A range.
Operation and maintenance
Regeneration frequency depends on raw water quality, water hardness, iron, manganese, ammonium and other impurity levels as well as actual water consumption.
The salt level in the brine tank should be checked regularly. Under standard operating conditions, salt is normally replenished approximately twice per month. The brine tank should be refilled when the salt level has fallen to approximately half of its total volume.
Annual maintenance is recommended. Treatment media replacement is generally required every 3–7 years depending on water quality, regeneration efficiency and water consumption.
High-quality BROXO salt granules or Crystals Salt sea salt are recommended.
