ARISTON Check Valve for Water Heater 3/4"

The ARISTON 3/4" check valve is intended for the cold-water connection of a water heater. Its main function is to maintain water flow in the correct direction and prevent water from flowing back from the heater into the cold-water supply system.

The valve has a 3/4" connection and is intended for water heaters and storage tanks with a corresponding connection size. ARISTON technical documentation also specifies 3/4" hydraulic safety units for 120, 150 and 200 litre water heaters.

The check valve is installed in the cold-water supply line before the water heater. It helps prevent reverse water movement and forms an important part of the hydraulic connection system of the heater.

The valve must be installed according to the water-flow direction marked on its body. No shut-off valve should be installed between the heater and the safety unit where prohibited by the manufacturer's installation instructions.

During water-heater servicing, the operation of the check valve and the tightness of its connections should also be checked. A damaged, seized or malfunctioning valve should be replaced.

This product is intended for compatible ARISTON water heaters with a 3/4" connection. As ARISTON uses several different 3/4" check and safety valve versions, the existing valve design and water-heater model should be checked before ordering.
