KOSPEL AMW.400 magnesium anode, Ø22 × 420 mm, 3/4"

KOSPEL AMW.400 is a magnesium protection anode intended for compatible KOSPEL domestic hot-water heaters, cylinders and heat exchangers. It forms part of the cylinder's corrosion-protection system and helps protect the internal surface of enamelled hot-water cylinders during operation.

According to the manufacturer's current technical documentation, the AMW.400 anode measures Ø22 × 420 mm. Despite the AMW.400 model designation, KOSPEL's current catalogue specifies a physical anode length of 420 mm.

The anode is supplied with a 3/4" threaded plug for installation in a corresponding anode connection on the cylinder. Before replacement, the existing anode model, thread size and technical documentation of the specific cylinder should be checked.

KOSPEL specifies the AMW.400 for several of its hot-water cylinders and heat exchangers. Current manufacturer documentation lists AMW.400, among others, for the SE-140, WP-100, WW-80 and WW-100 models.

A magnesium anode gradually wears during operation and should therefore be inspected periodically in accordance with the maintenance and warranty requirements of the relevant cylinder. Timely replacement helps maintain the cylinder's corrosion protection.
