KOSPEL GRW-3.0/230V heating element, 3000 W, 230 V, 6/4", with thermostat

KOSPEL GRW-3.0/230 is an electric immersion heating element with an integrated thermostat, designed for heating water in storage water heaters and domestic hot-water cylinders. Rated heating power is 3000 W / 3.0 kW and rated supply voltage is 230 V~.

The heating element is installed in the cylinder through a 6/4" / 1½" threaded connection. According to KOSPEL technical documentation, the GRW-3.0/230 has an approximate element length of 350 mm, so the cylinder design, connection size and available installation depth should be checked before installation.

The integrated thermostat provides water-temperature regulation within a range of 5–60 ±5 °C. The thermostat automatically switches the heating element on and off to maintain the selected water temperature.

In addition to the operating thermostat, the GRW-3.0/230 incorporates thermal safety protection. KOSPEL specifies a thermal cut-out temperature of 77 ±7 °C, providing protection against excessive water and heating-element temperature.

The heating element is intended to operate only while immersed in water. Before connection to the electrical supply, the cylinder must be filled with water and the threaded connection must be checked for leaks. Operation without water can damage the heating element.

The 230 V version requires an electrical connection with a PE protective conductor. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out in accordance with the KOSPEL instructions and applicable electrical-installation requirements.
