DRAŽICE 6541900 overheating safety thermostat for OKC, OKCV water heaters, 99 °C, 16 A, 250 V

DRAŽICE 6541900 is a capillary overheating safety thermostat / thermal cut-out designed to protect DRAŽICE water heaters against excessive temperature rise. Its function is to disconnect the electrical circuit when the temperature reaches the specified safety limit.

The safety thermostat type is KNTP 8823.02. This DRAŽICE version has a fixed disconnection temperature of 99 °C, a rated current of 16 A and a rated voltage of 250 V.

Temperature is monitored by a capillary sensor. When the specified overheating temperature is reached, the safety device mechanically disconnects the electrical circuit. After the sensor has cooled, operation can only be restored by manual reset.

KNTP 8823.02 is a two-pole safety device with a capillary temperature sensor. The capillary length is 500 mm and electrical connection is made using 6.3 × 0.8 mm flat terminals. The component has IP00 protection because it is intended for installation inside the protected electrical compartment of the water heater.

DRAŽICE 6541900 is used in various DRAŽICE OKC and OKCV series water heaters and in selected OKCE and OKCEV models. Compatible versions include several OKC 80–200 and OKCV 125–200 water heaters.

This component is an overheating safety device, not an operating thermostat for normal water temperature adjustment. Before replacement, check the exact water heater model, wiring diagram and original part number.
