ATLANTIC Safety Thermostat SBLC2003 230 V, VERTIGO STEATITE Essential / Wi-Fi 50/80/100, 030773

ATLANTIC 030773 / SBLC2003 is a safety thermostat / overheat protection device designed to protect compatible ATLANTIC VERTIGO STEATITE water heaters against excessive temperature rise.

The safety thermostat is intended for VERTIGO STEATITE Essential 50 / 80 / 100 and VERTIGO STEATITE Wi-Fi 50 / 80 / 100 water heaters. The spare-part reference is 030773 and the thermostat designation is SBLC2003.

The spare part is specified for a 230 V electrical system. The purpose of the safety thermostat is to interrupt electrical power to the heating element if the temperature inside the water heater rises above a safe limit.

ATLANTIC VERTIGO STEATITE water heaters use dry ceramic Steatite heating elements installed inside protective sleeves and therefore not directly exposed to water. This design simplifies maintenance and limits the effect of scale on the heating element.

If the safety thermostat has tripped, the cause of overheating should be identified before resetting or replacing it. The operating thermostat, heating elements, electronic controls and electrical connections should be checked.

Before ordering, compare the existing component designation SBLC2003, reference 030773 and exact VERTIGO STEATITE water-heater model. Electrical safety components must only be replaced after the appliance has been completely disconnected from the power supply.
