The PSG-1 is intended for water-supply and pressure-tank systems. It starts the pump when system pressure falls below the configured lower threshold and stops the pump once the upper pressure threshold is reached.

The specific PSG-1 version is intended for 220–230 V single-phase pumps. Its overall adjustment range is 1–5 bar, while the common factory preset is 1.4 bar start / 2.8 bar stop. Rated current is up to 16(10) A and the hydraulic connection is a 1/4" female thread.

PEDROLLO's current official HYDROFRESH documentation also shows the PSG-1 being used with recommended settings of 1.2–3.2 bar on specific pressure-unit configurations. Therefore, 1.4–2.8 bar should be understood as a factory preset rather than the complete pressure adjustment range.
