DANFOSS PRESOSTAT - DANFOSS PRESSURE SWITCHES

Danfoss KP pressure switches are used for pressure generating devices such as pressure boosters, compressors, as well as for regulator, monitoring and alarm systems in industrial applications. It allows to control the pressure in compressed air, gas or liquid tanks. It can send SPDT contacts to any AC electric motor.

How does the Pressure Switch work?

This pressure switch can turn an electric motor on and off between two pressures according to the pressure in the tank it is connected to. These pressure ranges can be easily adjusted on the device. For example, a pressure switch set between 6-8 bar cuts off the electricity when the pressure reaches 8 bar, and gives electricity back to the system when the pressure drops to 6 bar. This pressure range and differential can be adjusted via the differential switch.
