HERZ Ball Valve for Manifolds DN25, Red Handle, Straight, 1 2205 13

HERZ 1 2205 13 is a straight-pattern ball shut-off valve for HERZ stainless-steel manifolds, designed for heating and cooling systems. The red T-handle provides easy identification of the supply line and convenient opening or closing of the flow.

The nominal size is DN25, nominal pressure is PN25 and the connection size is G1". One side has a female thread, while the manifold side uses a connection with a freely rotating union nut and a 1" connection nipple.

An EPDM O-ring seal is used at the manifold connection, allowing the valve to be installed directly onto a HERZ stainless-steel manifold. No additional PTFE tape or other thread-sealing material is required at this manifold connection.

The valve body is manufactured from nickel-plated forged brass CW617N according to EN 12165. The ball is made from forged CW617N brass and hard chrome plated, while the spindle is nickel-plated CW614N brass. Ball and spindle seals are made from PTFE.

HERZ specifies a maximum operating temperature of +150 °C, or up to +110 °C for water; the minimum operating temperature is −30 °C, or +0.5 °C for water. A 25–50% ethylene- or propylene-glycol mixture is also permitted.

The straight DN25 valve has a flow coefficient of Kv 55 m³/h. For model 1 2205 13, HERZ specifies a length of 106 mm, a height of 56 mm and a weight of 0.68 kg. The valve is intended as a shut-off element, particularly for underfloor, wall and ceiling heating or cooling manifold systems.
