HERZ VUA-40 3/4" Straight Towel Radiator Valve for Two-Pipe Systems, 1778341

HERZ VUA-40 1778341 is a straight four-way radiator valve for two-pipe heating systems, suitable for connecting radiators and towel radiators with thermostatic flow control.

The valve is equipped with a presettable thermostatic insert, allowing heating water flow adjustment and hydraulic balancing of the heating system.

This version is intended for two-pipe heating systems and uses a straight configuration suitable for installations with corresponding pipe routing.

The radiator can be connected at the lower centre or from the side below. The radiator connection uses a flat seal.

The valve is supplied with an immersion tube 150 mm long and Ø 11 mm in diameter, ensuring the required heating water flow path inside the radiator.

The pipe centre distance is 40 mm. The radiator connection size is 1/2".

Heating system pipe connections are G3/4" with cone. HERZ specifies that the appropriate pipe fittings must be ordered separately.

The design allows the radiator to be removed while the system remains under pressure. The thermostatic upper part can also be replaced under pressure using HERZ Changefix.

HERZ specifies a maximum operating temperature of 120 °C and a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar for the VUA-40 valve.
