HERZ Changefix “H” 1778098 is a professional service and maintenance tool designed for replacing HERZ thermostatic valve inserts with an M30 × 1.5 connection thread.
The main advantage of the Changefix tool is that the thermostatic valve upper part can be replaced without draining the heating system. The tool operates using an airlock function, allowing the valve insert to be removed and replaced while the heating system remains under pressure.
This considerably simplifies heating-system maintenance and repair because the entire system does not need to be drained, refilled and vented after the work has been completed.
With the optional HERZ cleaning brush set 1778101, the valve seat and sealing area can also be cleaned while the valve insert is being replaced. The replacement adapter for the M30 × 1.5 Changefix “H” is HERZ 1778108.
