Mario Tokio-I 800×500/80 is a high-quality electric towel rail with a modern geometric design and a mirror-polished stainless-steel finish. The polished surface has a chrome-like appearance, but MARIO specifically states that the product is manufactured from stainless steel without chrome plating.

The nominal model size is 800×500/80, while the actual dimensions are 800 × 490 × 80 mm. The construction incorporates 8 horizontal crossbars and square-profile vertical uprights, giving Tokio-I a distinctive contemporary appearance.

Electrical output is 120 W. The built-in timer-controller provides three temperature settings – 40 °C, 45 °C and 50 °C – and three operating-time options: 3 hours, 6 hours or continuous heating.

In Eco mode, continuous heating is disabled and the towel rail operates only with the 3- or 6-hour timer. This helps limit operation to the periods when it is actually required.

The electrical connector can be installed on either the left or right side. The model is also compatible with MARIO's concealed electrical connection kit, allowing the cable to exit directly from the wall beneath a decorative cover.

The IP44 protection rating provides protection against water splashes, while electrical protection is Class I. The maximum surface temperature specified by the manufacturer is 55 °C.

Every MARIO electric towel rail undergoes a 1500 V high-voltage test during production as part of the manufacturer's electrical safety and quality-control process.

Tokio-I is manufactured from European stainless steel. MARIO names suppliers including Outokumpu of Finland and Acerinox of Spain. The mirror finish is produced by electro-polishing rather than by applying a decorative chrome layer.

The towel rail weighs 5.9 kg. It is manufactured in Ukraine and the manufacturer's warranty for the polished stainless-steel version is 20 years for the body and 5 years for the electrical components.
