HERZ DeLuxe thermostatic head M28×1.5, matt black, 1923049

HERZ DE LUXE 1923049 is a designer thermostatic radiator head with a matt black finish, designed for automatic room temperature control together with HERZ thermostatic radiator valves featuring an M28 × 1.5 connection. It is particularly suitable for HERZ TS-90 DE LUXE thermostatic valves and visually matches black HERZ DE LUXE radiator valves and return valves.

The thermostatic head is equipped with a liquid sensor, or Hydrosensor. The sensor reacts to changes in the ambient room temperature and mechanically acts on the spindle of the thermostatic valve. As the room temperature rises, the head gradually reduces the heating-water flow through the radiator; when the temperature falls, it increases the flow. This allows the selected room temperature to be maintained automatically without continuous manual adjustment of the radiator valve.

The HERZ DE LUXE thermostatic head offers a setting range up to 30 °C and features a mechanical “0” shut-off position. The frost-protection setting operates at approximately 8 °C and helps protect the heating system against freezing. The head also features a HERZ comfort marking corresponding to a room temperature of approximately 20 °C for quick everyday adjustment.

In the “0” position, the thermostatic valve is mechanically closed. At the frost-protection setting, the thermostatic head automatically allows the valve to open when the ambient temperature drops to approximately 8 °C, helping prevent the heating system from freezing.

The DE LUXE head is equipped with a cover and locking ring. Its construction provides convenient temperature adjustment and secure attachment to the thermostatic valve. The M28 × 1.5 threaded connection is intended for HERZ thermostatic valves with the corresponding connection.

The matt black finish makes the thermostatic head particularly suitable for black, anthracite and other designer radiators where the control element remains visible as part of the interior. The HERZ DE LUXE range combines automatic radiator temperature control with decorative design and is intended to coordinate with other DE LUXE radiator fittings.
