HERZ DE LUXE TS-90 1792449 is a DN15 angle thermostatic radiator valve with an elegant matt black finish. It is designed for installation on the radiator supply side in hot-water heating systems and, when combined with a HERZ thermostatic head, automatically regulates the heating-water flow according to room temperature.

The valve has an M28 × 1.5 thermostatic head connection and is intended for HERZ thermostatic heads and other technically compatible M28 × 1.5 control devices. The thermostatic head is not included with the valve.

The radiator connection is R 1/2" with a cone seal. On the pipe side, the valve features the HERZ universal connection with a special socket suitable for a 1/2" threaded pipe or HERZ compression connection. Using the appropriate separately ordered HERZ 6292 compression union, the valve can also be connected to calibrated 15 mm copper or soft-steel pipe.

HERZ TS-90 is a conventional thermostatic valve without an integrated flow pre-setting function. Radiator flow is controlled by the thermostatic head. The DN15 angle TS-90 valve has a Kvs value of 1.1 m³/h. The HERZ hydraulic diagram for DE LUXE TS-90 valves specifies kv values of 0.32 m³/h at 1 K, 0.60 m³/h at 2 K, 0.80 m³/h at 3 K and a maximum kv of approximately 1.05 m³/h.

The thermostatic valve upper part can be replaced using the HERZ Changefix tool while the heating system remains filled and under pressure. This simplifies maintenance, cleaning of the valve seat and replacement of a defective thermostatic insert.

The spindle is sealed by an O-ring located in a replaceable brass chamber. This construction minimises maintenance requirements and ensures permanently smooth valve operation. The O-ring chamber can also be replaced during operation.

The protective screw cap can be used to operate the valve during installation and flushing of the heating system. After commissioning, the cap is removed and an M28 × 1.5 thermostatic head is fitted.

HERZ recommends installing the thermostatic valve on the radiator supply so that the flow enters from the pipe-connection side. Wherever possible, the thermostatic head should be installed horizontally to ensure optimum room temperature control.

The matt black HERZ DE LUXE finish makes the valve particularly suitable for black and designer radiators and for modern interiors where the radiator fittings form a visible part of the overall design.
