KALVIS K-2-30 N is a multipurpose lower-combustion solid-fuel central-heating boiler with a nominal output of 30 kW. It is designed for heating residential and other buildings, primarily using wood logs. KALVIS also permits wood waste, sawdust briquettes and peat briquettes.

The boiler features a large 155-litre fuel chamber. Fuel can be loaded either from the front or from the top. Maximum wood-log length is 40 cm, while one fuel load can burn for up to 10–14 hours, depending on fuel type, moisture content, outdoor temperature and other operating conditions.

Efficiency when firing wood logs is 82%. Boiler temperature is regulated automatically. The construction incorporates a secondary-air supply and a secondary combustion chamber with a refractory-concrete catalyst to improve the combustion process.

The boiler includes smoke-exhaust, ignition and draught dampers, a fire-grate shaking mechanism, an emergency cooling coil and a heat exchanger that can be cleaned from both sides. It also provides a mounting point for a smoke exhauster and the possibility of installing a pellet burner.

The inner-wall steel thickness is 6 mm, and KALVIS provides a 4-year warranty for the boiler body.
