KALVIS K-2-12 N is a lower-combustion solid-fuel central-heating boiler with a nominal output of 12 kW. It is designed for heating residential and other small buildings, while its compact construction makes it suitable for smaller boiler rooms.

The boiler has a 42-litre fuel chamber and is primarily intended for burning wood logs. KALVIS also permits the use of wood waste, sawdust briquettes and peat briquettes. Firewood with a moisture content above 25% is not recommended.

Efficiency when burning wood logs is 82%. One fuel load can burn for up to 8 hours, while the maximum wood-log length is 30 cm. Actual burn time depends on fuel type, moisture content, outdoor temperature and other operating conditions.

Boiler temperature is automatically regulated. The construction includes draught and smoke dampers, a heat-exchanger turbulator, cooling coil, secondary-air supply, refractory combustion-chamber bricks, ash drawer, fire grate and fire-grate shaking mechanism. The heat exchanger can be cleaned from both sides of the boiler.

The inner-wall steel thickness is 6 mm, and KALVIS provides a 4-year warranty for the boiler body.
