PROTHERM Ray 12kW electric heating boiler (v.14)
PROTHERM Ray 12kW (RAY 12 KE /14 EU) is a wall-mounted electric heating boiler with continuous output modulation, designed for hydronic heating systems in houses, apartments and other suitable buildings. Heating output can be regulated from 2 to 12 kW, allowing the generated heat to be matched to the actual heating demand. The RAY 12 KE uses two 6 kW heating elements.
The RAY KE series features eBUS communication, automatic diagnostics, continuous output modulation and integrated weather-compensated control. With an outdoor temperature sensor connected, heating operation can be automatically adapted to outdoor conditions. The boiler also includes a high-efficiency circulation pump, frost protection and balanced heating-element loading.
PROTHERM Ray 12 KE can also be used for domestic hot-water preparation in an external indirect cylinder with the appropriate connection accessories. DHW temperature can be adjusted from 35 to 70 °C, while the heating-water temperature range is 25–85 °C.
