Ferroli TOR 6 is a wall-mounted electric heating boiler designed for closed hydronic heating systems. Its nominal heating output is 6 kW, while FERROLI specifies an efficiency of up to 99.5% for the TOR electric boiler range.

The boiler is controlled electronically via an LCD display. Heating temperature can be adjusted from 30 to 80 °C. The heating elements are activated progressively according to actual heating demand, while alternating operation helps distribute operating load between the elements. TOR 6 features three-stage output modulation.

The boiler incorporates a high-efficiency circulation pump with anti-blocking function, a 6-litre expansion vessel, automatic air vent, heating safety valve, water-pressure monitoring, pressure gauge and hydraulic bypass. Frost protection and automatic self-diagnostics are also provided.

TOR 6 supports a room thermostat and optional outdoor temperature sensor with weather compensation. The control system can also manage an external three-way diverting valve and external DHW cylinder sensor for priority domestic-hot-water preparation.

The TOR 6 can operate with either 220–240 V~/50 Hz single-phase or 400 V 3N~/50 Hz three-phase electrical supply. For the three-phase configuration, FERROLI specifies 8.7 A maximum current per phase, 10 A protection and a minimum supply cable cross-section of 1.5 mm².
