FERROLI SUN P7 N is a compact automatic pellet burner with a heat-input range of 13.7 to 34.1 kW. It is designed for installation on suitable solid-fuel boilers, allowing them to be converted for operation with wood pellets. FERROLI describes the SUN P N range as designed for high efficiency, low CO and NOx emissions and quiet flame operation.

SUN P7 N is supplied with an automatic pellet-feeding system consisting of a motor and feed screw. Its integrated electronic board manages burner operation, pellet loading and the main components of a domestic heating system, including circulation pumps, a three-way DHW valve, system flow and storage-cylinder sensors and a room thermostat or remote programmable thermostat.

The burner can operate as a single-stage unit or with flame modulation across 5 power levels. Ignition is automatic by means of an electrical heating element, while flame detection is performed by a photo-resistor. A flame-return safety thermostat calibrated to 85 °C is fitted as standard.

Pellet consumption ranges from 2.9 to 7.2 kg/h depending on operating output. FERROLI specifies pellets with a maximum diameter of 6 mm and maximum length of 35 mm. Electrical supply is 230 V / 50 Hz, power consumption during normal operation is 100 W and electrical consumption during ignition is 430 W. Burner weight is 11 kg.
