KALVIS K-4B-1 is a solid-fuel central-heating boiler-cooker designed for both space heating and cooking. Its nominal output is 13 kW, while efficiency when burning wood logs is 72%. The appliance is compact and suitable for installation in relatively small rooms.
It features a large 50-litre fuel chamber and a wide firebox door for convenient wood loading. The combustion chamber has two fire-grate positions, allowing the firebox configuration to be adjusted to operating needs.
A single fuel load can burn for up to 10 hours, while the maximum wood-log length is 33 cm. Actual burn time depends on fuel type, moisture content, outdoor temperature and other operating conditions.
The primary fuel is wood logs. KALVIS also permits coal, pieces of waste wood, peat briquettes and sawdust briquettes. Firewood with moisture content exceeding 25% is not recommended.
Boiler temperature is regulated automatically. The construction includes ignition and draught dampers for controlling the combustion process. KALVIS provides a 4-year warranty for the boiler body.
