KALVIS K4N-D is a powerful solid-fuel central-heating boiler-cooker designed for both space heating and cooking. According to the official KALVIS K-4 specification, its nominal output is 18 kW and efficiency when burning wood logs reaches 76%.

The appliance features a large 70-litre fuel chamber and a wide firebox door for convenient wood loading. The combustion chamber has two fire-grate positions, allowing the firebox configuration to be adapted to operating requirements. KALVIS offers left-hand and right-hand configurations.

A single fuel load can burn for up to 10 hours, while the maximum wood-log length is 35 cm. Actual burn time depends on fuel type, moisture content, outdoor temperature and other operating conditions.

The primary fuel is wood logs. Coal, pieces of waste wood, peat briquettes and sawdust briquettes may also be used as substitute fuels. Firewood with a moisture content exceeding 25% is not recommended.

Boiler temperature is regulated automatically. The construction includes two hotplates, cast-iron rings, a draught regulator, ignition damper, flue and draught damper, ash-cleaning cover, ash drawer and two fire-grate positions. KALVIS provides a 4-year warranty for the boiler body.
