PANASONIC Big Aquarea T-CAP M 30 kW air-to-water heat pump, R290, 400 V, WH-CME8L / WH-WXG30ME8

PANASONIC Big Aquarea T-CAP M WH-CME8L / WH-WXG30ME8 is a three-phase 30 kW air-to-water heat pump using natural R290 refrigerant, designed for large residential buildings, apartment buildings, commercial properties and central heating and DHW applications.

The system consists of the WH-WXG30ME8 outdoor unit and compact WH-CME8L control module. WH-CME8L is not a hydromodule and does not contain an integrated electric backup heater. It can control a separately installed field-supplied electric backup heater of up to 18 kW.

Big Aquarea T-CAP M uses natural R290 refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit is hermetically sealed inside the outdoor unit, with the building connected through the hydraulic water circuit.

At A+7 °C / W35 °C, heating capacity is 30.00 kW with COP 4.40. At A+2/W35 output remains 30.00 kW with COP 2.50, while at A−7/W35 it delivers 30.00 kW with COP 2.33.

At W55 °C, heating capacity remains 30.00 kW: COP is 3.00 at A+7/W55, 1.95 at A+2/W55 and 1.49 at A−7/W55.

For an average climate, SCOP is 3.95 at W35 °C and 3.46 at W55 °C. Seasonal space-heating efficiency ηs is 155% / 135%, with energy classes A++ / A++.

T-CAP technology provides reliable heating performance in low outdoor temperatures. The 30 kW model operates in heating mode down to −25 °C and provides water outlet temperatures of up to 75 °C.

Active cooling is supported. At A35/W7 in Comfort mode, cooling capacity is 26.00 kW with EER 2.68. In Efficiency mode it is 15.00 kW with EER 3.61. At A35/W18 in Comfort mode, capacity reaches 30.00 kW with EER 4.10.

Nominal heating-water flow at ΔT 5 K and W35 °C is 86.0 l/min. The outdoor unit includes an A-class variable-speed circulation pump with a specified input of 230 W.

Outdoor-unit dimensions are 1645 × 1500 × 460 mm, with a net weight of 240 kg. Heating sound power is 61 dB(A).

Factory R290 refrigerant charge is 3.0 kg, with Panasonic specifying a CO₂ equivalent of 0.009 t.

The WH-CME8L control module measures 450 × 450 × 116 mm and weighs 7 kg. The connecting cable to the outdoor unit is 2 × 0.75 mm².

PANASONIC WH-CME8L / WH-WXG30ME8 is a high-capacity 30 kW R290 solution with 400 V three-phase supply, active cooling, water temperatures up to 75 °C and full 30 kW heating output at A−7 °C / W35 °C.
