PANASONIC Big Aquarea T-CAP M 25 kW air-to-water heat pump, R290, 400 V, WH-CME8L / WH-WXG25ME8

PANASONIC Big Aquarea T-CAP M WH-CME8L / WH-WXG25ME8 is a three-phase 25 kW air-to-water heat pump using natural R290 refrigerant, designed for larger residential buildings, apartment buildings, commercial properties and central heating applications.

The system consists of the WH-WXG25ME8 outdoor unit and compact WH-CME8L control module. WH-CME8L is not a hydromodule and does not contain an integrated electric backup heater. It can control a separately installed field-supplied electric backup heater of up to 18 kW.

Big Aquarea T-CAP M uses natural R290 refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit is hermetically sealed inside the outdoor unit, while the building is connected through the hydraulic water circuit.

At A+7 °C / W35 °C, heating capacity is 25.00 kW with COP 4.50. At A+2/W35 the unit provides 25.00 kW with COP 2.80, while at A−7/W35 it still provides 25.00 kW with COP 2.36.

At W55 °C, heating output also remains 25.00 kW: COP is 3.00 at A+7/W55, 1.97 at A+2/W55 and 1.80 at A−7/W55.

For an average climate, SCOP is 4.25 at W35 °C and 3.57 at W55 °C. Seasonal space-heating efficiency ηs is 167% / 140%, with energy classes A++ / A++.

Heating operation is available down to −25 °C outdoor temperature, while heating-water outlet temperature can reach 75 °C.

Active cooling is supported. At A35/W7 in Comfort mode, cooling capacity is 25.00 kW with EER 2.86; in Efficiency mode it is 15.00 kW with EER 3.61. At A35/W18 in Comfort mode, cooling capacity is 25.00 kW with EER 4.47.

Nominal heating-water flow at ΔT 5 K and W35 °C is 71.6 l/min. The outdoor unit features a variable-speed A-class circulation pump with a specified input of 230 W.

The outdoor unit measures 1645 × 1500 × 460 mm and weighs 240 kg. Heating sound power is 59 dB(A).

Factory R290 refrigerant charge is 3.0 kg; Panasonic's product table specifies a CO₂ equivalent of 0.009 t.

The WH-CME8L control module measures 450 × 450 × 116 mm and weighs only 7 kg. The connection cable to the outdoor unit is 2 × 0.75 mm².

PANASONIC WH-CME8L / WH-WXG25ME8 is a high-capacity 25 kW R290 solution with 400 V three-phase supply, water temperatures up to 75 °C and full 25 kW heating output even at A−7 °C / W35 °C.
