MIDEA HUGGE 16 kW air-to-water heat pump with 240 l DHW tank MHA-V16WD2RN8-E / HBT-A160/240CDS90GN8-E

MIDEA HUGGE MHA-V16WD2RN8-E / HBT-A160/240CDS90GN8-E is a split air-to-water heat pump system for space heating, cooling and domestic hot-water production. The system consists of the MHA-V16WD2RN8-E outdoor unit and the HBT-A160/240CDS90GN8-E indoor hydraulic unit with an integrated 240-litre stainless-steel domestic hot-water tank.

Under standard A7/W35 °C operating conditions, nominal heating capacity is 15.50 kW and COP reaches 4.61. The system maintains high heating output at low outdoor temperatures: maximum heating capacity is 16.72 kW at A-7/W35 °C, 15.85 kW at A-15/W35 °C, 11.99 kW at A-15/W50 °C and 11.69 kW at A-20/W50 °C.

According to EN14825, seasonal efficiency reaches SCOP 4.93 in an average climate at W35 °C and SCOP 4.55 in a cold climate. Energy-efficiency class at W35/W55 is specified as A+++ / A+++.

The heat pump includes an integrated cooling function. Nominal cooling capacity at A35/W18 °C is 10 kW. Maximum leaving-water temperature is specified in the catalogue as 65/60 °C.

MIDEA HUGGE uses an EVI DC Twin Rotary compressor, an electronic EEV expansion valve and R32 refrigerant. The system is designed to provide efficient operation over a wide outdoor-temperature range.

Refrigerant piping size is 3/8"–5/8". Line length without additional refrigerant charging is up to 15 m, maximum refrigerant line length is 30 m and maximum height difference between the indoor and outdoor units is 20 m.

Electrical supply is 380–415 V / 3 Ph / 50 Hz and the specified fuse or circuit breaker is 16 A. Outdoor operating range is -28 to +35 °C for heating/cooling and -28 to +43 °C for domestic hot-water operation.

The outdoor unit measures 1051 × 1330 × 475 mm and weighs 130.5 kg. The indoor unit with integrated 240 l tank measures 600 × 600 × 1943 mm and weighs 157.3 kg.

Outdoor sound level is specified as 46/43/40 dB(A) at A7/W35 °C and 48/45/43 dB(A) at A-7/W55 °C. Outdoor-unit sound level at a distance of 1 m is 43/39/36 dB(A), while the indoor-unit sound level is 44 dB(A).

MIDEA HUGGE includes integrated cooling and built-in Wi-Fi control. The system combines space heating, cooling and domestic hot-water production with an integrated 240 l hot-water tank.
