MIDEA HUGGE MHA-V12WD2RN8-E / HBT-A160/240CDS90GN8-E is a split air-to-water heat pump system for space heating, cooling and domestic hot-water production. The system consists of the MHA-V12WD2RN8-E outdoor unit and the HBT-A160/240CDS90GN8-E indoor unit with an integrated 240-litre stainless-steel domestic hot-water tank.
Under standard A7/W35 °C conditions, the nominal heating capacity is 12.1 kW with a COP of 4.84. The system maintains strong heating capacity at low outdoor temperatures: 12.17 kW at A-7/W35 °C, 12.17 kW at A-15/W35 °C, 11.81 kW at A-15/W50 °C and 10.52 kW at A-20/W50 °C.
According to EN14825, SCOP reaches 5.19 in an average climate at W35 °C and 4.55 in a cold climate. The energy-efficiency class at W35/W55 is A+++ / A+++.
The system includes integrated cooling. Nominal cooling capacity at A35/W18 °C is 10 kW. The catalogue specifies the maximum leaving-water temperature as 65/60 °C.
The MIDEA HUGGE uses an EVI DC Twin Rotary compressor, an electronic expansion valve EEV and R32 refrigerant, providing efficient operation across a wide outdoor temperature range.
Refrigerant pipe size is 3/8"–5/8". The refrigerant line can be up to 15 m without additional refrigerant charging, while the maximum line length is 30 m and the maximum height difference between indoor and outdoor units is 20 m.
