MIDEA HUGGE MHA-V12WD2RN8-E / HB-A160CDS90GN8-E is a split air-to-water heat pump system designed for space heating and cooling. The system consists of the MHA-V12WD2RN8-E outdoor unit and the HB-A160CDS90GN8-E indoor hydraulic unit. Domestic hot-water operation is also supported by the system control.

Under standard A7/W35 °C operating conditions, nominal heating capacity is 12.1 kW and COP reaches 4.84. The heat pump maintains a high heating output at low outdoor temperatures, providing a maximum heating capacity of 12.17 kW at both A-7/W35 °C and A-15/W35 °C.

At higher heating-water temperatures, maximum heating capacity is 11.81 kW at A-15/W50 °C and 10.52 kW at A-20/W50 °C, allowing operation in heating systems requiring higher leaving-water temperatures.

According to EN14825, seasonal efficiency at W35 °C reaches SCOP 5.19 in an average climate and SCOP 4.55 in a cold climate. The catalogue specifies an energy-efficiency class of A+++ / A+++ for W35/W55 operating conditions.

The heat pump includes an integrated cooling function. Nominal cooling capacity at A35/W18 °C is 10 kW. Maximum leaving-water temperature is specified in the catalogue as 65/60 °C.

MIDEA HUGGE uses an EVI DC Twin Rotary compressor, an electronic EEV expansion valve and R32 refrigerant. Refrigerant pipe connection size is 3/8"–5/8".

Refrigerant line length without additional refrigerant charging is up to 15 m. Maximum permitted line length is 30 m and maximum height difference between the indoor and outdoor units is 20 m.

Electrical supply is 380–415 V / 3 Ph / 50 Hz, with a specified 16 A fuse or circuit breaker. Outdoor operating range is -28 to +35 °C for heating/cooling and -28 to +43 °C for domestic hot-water operation.

The outdoor unit measures 1051 × 1330 × 475 mm and weighs 130.5 kg. The compact indoor hydraulic unit measures 420 × 790 × 270 mm and weighs 39 kg.

Sound level is specified as 45/41/38 dB(A) at A7/W35 °C and 47/44/41 dB(A) at A-7/W55 °C. Outdoor-unit sound level at a distance of 1 m is 42/39/35 dB(A), while the indoor-unit sound level is 43 dB(A).

MIDEA HUGGE includes integrated cooling and built-in Wi-Fi control. The system is designed for energy-efficient building heating and cooling across a wide outdoor-temperature range.
