HITACHI airH2O 400 series heat pumps have been manufactured by Qingdao Hitachi Air-conditioning Systems Co., Ltd. since 2023. The factory was opened in 2022 with the aim of producing heat pumps and semi-industrial air conditioning systems for HITACHI and YORK. The heat capacity of heat pumps is from 4.0 to 16.0 kW. Heat pumps are suitable for heating and hot water supply for houses from 60 to 250 m2. The heat pumps are fully charged at the factory and operate with energy-efficient R32 freon.

The HITACHI airH2O 400 air/water heat pump system is a device that converts outdoor air energy into heat for home heating. A heat pump that uses a freon circuit consumes a minimum amount of electricity while extracting a large amount of heat from the outside air (even if it is -25℃ outside) and transferring it to your home for heating. The system has extremely high efficiency. When consuming 1.0 kW of electricity, the HITACHI heat pump will produce up to 5.1 kW of heat energy. Compared to a conventional electric boiler or a solid fuel boiler, the HITACHI airH2O 400 system consumes three times less electricity on average during the heating period. HITACHI heat pumps are a modern, environmentally friendly source of heating.

Stable water heating at -25℃ outside temperature. The HITACHI air/water heat pump can heat water up to +60℃ even when the outside temperature is extremely low in winter. In the hot water supply mode, the water is heated by the pump to +75℃. The heat pump has a built-in three-stage heater that can work in emergency mode or simply when you need to heat a large amount of water quickly.

The heat pumps are equipped with two quiet operation modes. Night mode and stationary mode with reduced noise. These modes are designed to ensure maximum comfort for a person staying in their home day and night. These modes are activated when necessary with one touch from the heat pump control panel. Stationary mode reduces the noise level by 8 dB(A). When the night mode is on, the heat pump outdoor unit will operate with a sound pressure level not exceeding 35 dB(A).

HEAT PUMP ELEMENTS

The main element of the heat pump system is the compressor. The HITACHI airH2O 400 system uses a highly efficient double rotary compressor with a DC inverter. It is equipped with a unique double freon compression chamber. It operates with minimal vibration and noise, especially at low frequencies. In addition, the double rotary compressor has a small lubricating oil injection volume with a stable return to the compressor, which makes the system more reliable than other analogues.
