Bosch Compress 5800i AW 7 OR-S + CS5800iAW 12 MB is a modern reversible air-to-water heat pump system designed for space heating, active cooling and domestic hot water production in a separate storage tank. The system consists of the powerful AW 7 OR-S monobloc outdoor unit and the floor-standing CS5800iAW 12 MB indoor hydraulic module with an integrated approximately 70 litre buffer tank.

The outdoor unit uses the natural refrigerant R290 (propane) with a very low global warming potential of GWP 3. The refrigerant charge is only 0.95 kg. Thanks to the monobloc design, the complete refrigerant circuit is factory-sealed inside the outdoor unit, while heating system water circulates between the outdoor and indoor units.

The AW 7 OR-S delivers 6.7 kW heating output at A−7/W35, while the maximum heating output at A7/W35 reaches 7.97 kW. Inverter technology allows the heat pump to continuously adapt its output to the actual heating demand of the building, helping to reduce unnecessary start and stop cycles.

The heat pump achieves excellent seasonal efficiency with a SCOP of 4.58 at W35 and SCOP of 3.52 at W55 under average climate conditions. The energy efficiency class reaches A+++ for low-temperature heating systems and A++ at 55 °C.

The maximum heat pump flow temperature can reach 75 °C. This provides greater flexibility not only for new buildings with underfloor heating, but also for renovation projects and heating systems requiring higher water temperatures.

Bosch Compress 5800i AW is designed to operate reliably even in demanding climatic conditions. The outdoor operating temperature range in heating mode is from −22 to +45 °C, while in cooling mode it is from +17 to +45 °C. The system also provides active cooling with an output of up to 5.50 kW at A35/W18.

Special attention has been paid to acoustic comfort. The AW 7 OR-S outdoor unit has an ErP sound power level of only 42 dB(A), while Bosch technical data specifies a sound pressure level of 34 dB(A) at a distance of 1 metre. Optimised airflow, a sound diffuser and a modulating fan help to minimise operating noise.

The floor-standing CS5800iAW 12 MB indoor module includes a factory-integrated 70.5 l buffer tank, primary circulation pump, heating circuit circulation pump, 17 l expansion vessel, diverter valve and electric auxiliary heater with 3 / 6 / 9 kW power stages. This integrated design reduces the number of separately installed hydraulic components and enables a compact and tidy heating system installation.

Domestic hot water is produced in a separate external hot water storage tank, allowing the tank volume to be selected according to the household's actual hot water requirements. The indoor module includes the necessary functionality for connecting an external hot water cylinder.

System control is provided by the Bosch UI800 controller with a 5-inch colour touchscreen. The standard configuration enables control of the heating and cooling system, while optional Bosch accessories allow the system to be expanded with an additional heating circuit and remote-control functions. Internet connectivity is available using an optional Bosch Connect-Key module.

Bosch Compress 5800i AW 7 OR-S + CS5800iAW 12 MB is an excellent solution for energy-efficient detached houses, new-build projects and renovations where heating, cooling, domestic hot water capability and a compact indoor module with an integrated buffer tank and key hydraulic components are required.

* With a single-phase 230 V connection, the permissible electric auxiliary heater output is limited to 3 kW. The outdoor and indoor units require an appropriate separate electrical supply in accordance with Bosch installation documentation and the specific installation design.
