Bosch Compress 5800i AW 12 OR-T + CS5800iAW 12 MB is a powerful and energy-efficient reversible air-to-water heat pump system for space heating, active cooling and domestic hot water production in a separate storage tank. The system combines the three-phase monobloc AW 12 OR-T outdoor unit with the floor-standing CS5800iAW 12 MB indoor hydraulic module featuring an integrated 70.5 litre buffer tank.

The outdoor unit uses the natural refrigerant R290 (propane) with an extremely low global warming potential of GWP 3. The refrigerant charge is 1.6 kg. In the monobloc design the refrigerant circuit is located in the outdoor unit, while heating system water circulates between the outdoor and indoor units.

The AW 12 OR-T delivers up to 11.56 kW heating output at A−7/W35. Maximum heating output reaches 12.61 kW at A2/W35 and 12.90 kW at A7/W35. The wide modulation range of approximately 2.1–12.6 kW allows the inverter compressor to adapt its output to the actual heating demand of the building.

Excellent seasonal efficiency is achieved with a SCOP of 4.66 at W35 and SCOP of 3.51 at W55 under average climate conditions. The energy efficiency class reaches A+++ for low-temperature heating and A++ at 55 °C.

The maximum heating water flow temperature can reach 75 °C, making the Compress 5800i AW suitable both for new buildings with underfloor heating and for many renovation projects with radiator systems.

Heating operation is possible at outdoor temperatures down to −22 °C. The system also provides active cooling with a capacity of 9.60 kW at A35/W18 and 7.59 kW at A35/W7.

The AW 12 OR-T has an ErP sound power level of 45 dB(A), while the sound pressure level at a distance of 1 metre is approximately 40 dB(A).

The CS5800iAW 12 MB floor-standing indoor module incorporates a 70.5 l buffer tank, circulation pumps, a 17 l expansion vessel, diverter valve and electric auxiliary heater with 3 / 6 / 9 kW power stages.

Domestic hot water is produced in a separate external hot water storage tank, allowing the tank volume to be selected according to actual household requirements.

System control is provided by the Bosch UI800 controller with a 5-inch colour touchscreen. Remote operation with Bosch HomeCom Easy is available with a compatible Bosch Connect-Key internet module.

Bosch Compress 5800i AW 12 OR-T + CS5800iAW 12 MB is an excellent solution for larger energy-efficient detached houses, new-build projects and renovations requiring higher heating output, active cooling and a compact indoor module with an integrated buffer tank.
