Bosch Compress 5800i AW 10 OR-T + CS5800iAW 12 MB is a powerful and energy-efficient reversible air-to-water heat pump system for space heating, active cooling and domestic hot water production in a separate storage tank. The system combines the three-phase AW 10 OR-T monobloc outdoor unit with the floor-standing CS5800iAW 12 MB indoor hydraulic module featuring an integrated approximately 70 litre buffer tank.

The outdoor unit uses the natural refrigerant R290 (propane) with an extremely low global warming potential of GWP 3. The refrigerant charge is 1.6 kg. Thanks to the monobloc design, the refrigerant circuit remains inside the outdoor unit, while heating system water circulates between the outdoor and indoor units.

The AW 10 OR-T delivers 9.57 kW heating output at A−7/W35. At A2/W35 the output modulation range is 2.1–11.7 kW, enabling the heat pump to adapt its capacity to the actual heating demand of the building and reduce unnecessary compressor start/stop cycles.

Excellent seasonal efficiency is achieved with a SCOP of 4.77 at W35 and SCOP of 3.64 at W55 under average climate conditions. The energy efficiency class reaches A+++ for low-temperature heating and A++ at 55 °C.

The maximum heating water flow temperature can reach 75 °C, making the system suitable not only for new buildings with underfloor heating but also for many renovation projects and radiator systems requiring higher water temperatures.

The AW 10 OR-T is designed to operate in demanding climatic conditions, with heating operation possible down to −22 °C outdoor temperature. Active cooling is also available, with maximum cooling output of 8.90 kW at A35/W18 and 6.70 kW at A35/W7.

Acoustic comfort has been a major focus of the design. The AW 10 OR-T outdoor unit has an ErP sound power level of 42 dB(A), while the sound pressure level at a distance of 1 metre is approximately 34 dB(A).

The floor-standing CS5800iAW 12 MB indoor module incorporates an approximately 70 l buffer tank, circulation pumps, a 17 l expansion vessel, diverter valve and a 9 kW electric auxiliary heater with 3 / 6 / 9 kW stages.

Domestic hot water is produced in a separate external hot water storage tank, allowing the tank size to be selected according to actual household demand.

System control is provided by the Bosch UI800 controller with a 5-inch colour touchscreen. Optional Bosch accessories enable system expansion and remote control. Bosch HomeCom Easy operation requires a compatible Bosch Connect-Key internet module.
