KOSPEL SWP-200 is a vertical floor-standing domestic hot water cylinder with a large-area spiral heat exchanger, specially designed for efficient operation with heat pumps and other low- or medium-temperature heating sources.
The cylinder provides an actual capacity of 199 litres, while the spiral heat exchanger has a large 2.1 m² surface area. The large coil enables efficient heat transfer even at relatively low heating-water temperatures, which is particularly important in air-to-water and ground-source heat pump systems.
The heat exchanger delivers 60 kW at 80/10/45 °C and 18 kW at 55/10/45 °C. Domestic hot water output reaches up to 1500 l/h and 500 l/h respectively, at a heating-water flow rate through the coil of 2.5 m³/h.
The cylinder is insulated with 65 mm PUR polyurethane foam. Standby heat loss is 59 W, while the energy efficiency class is B. The high-quality insulation helps reduce the energy required to maintain the stored hot-water temperature.
The internal steel cylinder is protected against corrosion by a high-quality enamel coating and an AMW.M8.400 magnesium anode. KOSPEL's manufacturing technology includes leakage testing and enamel-coating quality control for every cylinder.
The SWP-200 is equipped with hot- and cold-water connections, a domestic hot-water circulation connection, temperature sensor pockets and a thermometer. Heating-water flow and return connections for the coil are G 1", while the hot-water, cold-water and circulation connections are G 3/4".
A G 1½" connection for an optional electric immersion heater is also provided. The electric heater is not included as standard. Compatible KOSPEL heaters include GRW 1.4 kW, 2.0 kW and 3.0 kW models for 230 V, as well as the GRW 4.5 kW model for 400 V.
KOSPEL SWP-200 is suitable for detached houses and domestic hot-water systems requiring approximately 200 litres of hot-water storage and a large heat exchanger surface for efficient operation with a heat pump.
