ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 200L combined water heater, vertical / horizontal, 2.2 kW, 884027

ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 200L is a combined domestic hot-water heater equipped with an annular jacket heat exchanger and a 2.2 kW electric heating element. Domestic hot water can be produced either from the heating system or electrically, providing convenient year-round operation.

The DUOTHERM design allows universal installation in either a vertical or horizontal position. Its annular jacket heat exchanger has low hydraulic resistance and is suitable for systems with a primary circulation pump as well as thermosiphon operation using natural circulation.

The 200-litre model has a heat-exchanger surface area of 1.2 m² and a heat-exchanger volume of 10 litres. With a primary flow of 2 m³/h at 90 °C and a secondary temperature rise of 35 °C, exchanger output reaches 29 kW.

With forced circulation, continuous hot-water output reaches 708 l/h, while thermosiphon operation provides 468 l/h. Heat-exchanger output in thermosiphon mode is 19.2 kW. Heat-up time is approximately 30 minutes with forced circulation and 50 minutes in thermosiphon mode.

Electric water heating is provided by a high-quality 2.2 kW copper immersion heating element. Power supply is 230 V / 50 Hz. At a temperature difference of ΔT = 50 °C, actual electric heat-up time is approximately 5 hours 16 minutes.

The inside of the steel tank is protected by high-quality ceramic enamel, a magnesium anode and ATLANTIC O'Pro corrosion-protection technology. The O'Pro system helps reduce magnesium-anode consumption and contributes to long-term tank protection.

High-quality polyurethane thermal insulation helps maintain stored-water temperature and reduce standing heat losses. ATLANTIC specifies standing energy losses of 2.16 kWh/24 h at a stored-water temperature of 65 °C and ambient temperature of 20 °C.

The unit features an external mechanical temperature-control knob, automatic thermal protection, a shaped cold-water deflector, magnesium anode and safety valve. Electrical protection rating is IP24.

ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 200L 884027 has an energy-efficiency class C and an M load profile. Water-heating energy efficiency is 36%, annual electricity consumption is 1471 kWh and mixed water at 40 °C reaches 310 litres.

ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 200L is a versatile solution where a large quantity of domestic hot water is required, combining heating-system energy with independent 2.2 kW electric heating outside the heating season.

The safety valve is not included and must be purchased separately.
