ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 150L combined water heater, vertical / horizontal, 2.2 kW, 874031

ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 150L is a combined domestic hot-water heater equipped with an annular heat exchanger and a 2.2 kW electric heating element. Domestic hot water can be produced either from the heating system or electrically, allowing year-round operation even when the main heating source is switched off.

The DUOTHERM construction allows both vertical and horizontal installation. ATLANTIC's annular jacket-type heat exchanger provides low hydraulic resistance and can operate with a primary circulation pump or in thermosiphon mode without a primary pump.

The heat exchanger surface area is 0.95 m². With forced circulation it provides up to 26 kW of heat-exchanger output and an hourly hot-water flow rate of 642 l/h. In thermosiphon operation, output is 17.5 kW with a flow rate of 426 l/h.

Under ATLANTIC test conditions – primary circuit temperature of 90 °C with a flow of 2 m³/h and secondary circuit temperatures of 10/45 °C – heating time is approximately 30 minutes with forced circulation and 50 minutes in thermosiphon mode.

Electric back-up heating is provided by a 2.2 kW copper immersion heating element. The unit operates from a 230 V single-phase supply. Electric heat-up time is approximately 2 hours 50 minutes.

The inside of the tank is protected by high-quality ceramic enamel and a magnesium anode. ATLANTIC O'Pro technology provides additional corrosion protection and helps extend magnesium-anode service life. High-quality polyurethane insulation reduces standing heat losses.

The water heater features an external mechanical temperature control knob and thermal protection against excessive temperature rise. A cold-water deflector helps reduce mixing between incoming cold water and the already heated water inside the tank.

ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 150L model 874031 has an energy-efficiency class C and an M load profile. Water-heating energy efficiency is 37%, annual electricity consumption is 1394 kWh and mixed water at 40 °C is 244 litres.

ATLANTIC DUOTHERM 150L 874031 is a versatile 150-litre combined water heater combining a powerful 0.95 m² heat exchanger, a 2.2 kW electric heating element and flexible vertical or horizontal installation.

The safety valve is not included and must be purchased separately.
