ATLANTIC Combi Steatite DS VM200 L is a vertical combined domestic hot-water heater equipped with an integrated coil heat exchanger and electric back-up heating. Domestic hot water can be produced either through the heating system or by means of the built-in 2400 W Steatite electric heating element. Product reference: 884034.

The water heater has a nominal capacity of 200 litres. It is designed for vertical wall-mounted installation and is suitable for systems where a boiler or another heating source is used as the primary source for domestic hot-water production, while the electric element provides supplementary or back-up heating.

Electric heating is provided by a dry ceramic Steatite heating element rated at 2.4 kW. The element is installed inside a protective sleeve and has no direct contact with water, helping to reduce scale deposits on the heating element and simplify maintenance.

ATLANTIC specifies the electrical connection for this 2.4 kW version as 400 V 3~/230 V. Electric back-up heating from 10 to 60 °C takes approximately 5 hours 20 minutes.

The integrated coil heat exchanger has a surface area of 0.69 m². With a primary flow rate of 1 m³/h at 80 °C and a secondary circuit temperature of 10/45 °C, ATLANTIC specifies a heat-exchanger output of 16.7 kW.

Under the manufacturer-specified operating conditions, hourly hot-water output reaches 412 l/h. Heat-up time using the coil at a temperature difference of ΔT 55 °C is approximately 50 minutes.

The inner tank is protected by ATLANTIC Diamond-quality enamel and a magnesium anode. The Steatite heating element is protected by an enamel-coated steel sleeve, while the integrated heat exchanger uses an optimised enamelled construction.

The design also includes a pressure relief valve, dielectric union and specific flange gasket intended to reduce corrosion risk around the flange. Maximum tank working pressure is 8 bar, while maximum coil working pressure is 10 bar.

Coil pressure drop at a flow rate of 1 m³/h is approximately 30 mbar. ATLANTIC specifies an IP25 protection rating for the vertical wall-mounted model. High-density CFC-free polyurethane insulation helps reduce standing heat losses.

ATLANTIC specifies minimum storage energy consumption of 1.33 kWh/24 h with stored water at 65 °C and an ambient temperature of 20 °C. EPREL data for model identifier 884034 specifies energy-efficiency class C, load profile L, water-heating energy efficiency of 39% and annual electricity consumption of 2655 kWh.
