ATLANTIC Combi Steatite DS VM100 L is a vertical combined domestic hot-water heater equipped with an integrated coil heat exchanger and electric back-up heating. Hot water can be produced through the heating system or by the built-in 2400 W Steatite electric heating element. Product reference: 864032.

The water heater has a nominal capacity of 100 litres and is designed for vertical wall-mounted installation. It is suitable for systems where the main domestic hot-water source is a boiler or another heating source, while the electric element provides supplementary or back-up heating.

Electric heating is provided by a dry ceramic Steatite heating element rated at 2.4 kW. The element is protected by an enamel-coated steel sleeve and has no direct contact with water, helping to limit scale formation on the heating element and simplifying maintenance.

ATLANTIC specifies the electrical connection as 400 V 3~/230 V. The electric back-up heat-up time from 10 to 60 °C is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes.

The integrated coil has a surface area of 0.57 m². With a primary flow of 1 m³/h at 80 °C and a secondary circuit at 10/45 °C, ATLANTIC specifies a heat-exchanger output of 16.0 kW and an hourly hot-water flow of 393 l/h. Heat-up time for ΔT 55 °C under these conditions is approximately 35 minutes.

The tank is protected by ATLANTIC diamond-quality enamel and a magnesium anode. The construction also includes an enamel-coated steel heating-element sleeve, optimised enamelled coil, dielectric union, pressure relief valve and a specific flange gasket designed to reduce corrosion around the flange.

Maximum tank working pressure is 8 bar and maximum coil working pressure is 10 bar. Coil pressure drop at a flow of 1 m³/h is approximately 25 mbar. ATLANTIC specifies an IP25 protection rating for the vertical wall-mounted version.

High-density CFC-free polyurethane insulation reduces standing heat losses. ATLANTIC specifies minimum storage energy consumption of 0.94 kWh/24 h with water stored at 65 °C and an ambient temperature of 20 °C.

For exact reference 864032, EPREL specifies energy-efficiency class C, load profile L, water-heating energy efficiency of 38%, annual electricity consumption of 2696 kWh and an indoor sound power level of 15 dB.
