ARISTON PRO1 R THERMO 80 VTS is an 80-litre combined storage water heater equipped with an electric heating element and an integrated heat exchanger. Domestic hot water can therefore be produced either electrically or by using a boiler or another suitable heating-system heat source.

The VTS version is designed for vertical wall-mounted installation and has the heat-exchanger connections on the left-hand side, allowing the correct version to be selected according to the heating-system layout.

Electric heating output is 1.8 kW with a 230 V power supply. At a temperature rise of ΔT = 45 °C, heat-up time is approximately 2 hours 11 minutes, while the maximum operating temperature is 75 °C.

The integrated coil has a heat-exchange surface of 0.15 m². It is designed for integration with a boiler or central-heating system, allowing an external heating source to produce domestic hot water during the heating season.

ARISTON WaterPlus technology optimises the way cold water enters the tank and helps keep already heated water in the upper section. According to the manufacturer, this can provide up to 16% more available hot water compared with an equivalent conventional design without WaterPlus technology.

TitanShield technology protects the tank against corrosion through the enamelled inner tank and a large magnesium anode. Polyurethane insulation helps reduce standing heat losses, specified at 1.51 kWh/24 h at 65 °C.

Water temperature can be conveniently adjusted using the external mechanical control. The design also incorporates a bipolar safety thermostat and an easily removable inspection flange to simplify periodic maintenance.

ARISTON PRO1 R THERMO 80 VTS is suitable for installations where electric and heating-system water heating need to be combined in one 80-litre tank, particularly where a left-hand heat-exchanger connection is required.
