ARISTON PRO R EVO VTS 200 is a 200-litre combined storage water heater equipped with an electric heating element and an integrated coil heat exchanger. Domestic hot water can be produced either electrically or by using a boiler, solar thermal system or another suitable external heat source.

The model is designed for vertical installation. On the VTS version, the heat-exchanger connections are located on the left-hand side, making it suitable for installations where the heating-circuit pipes approach the cylinder from the left.

Electric heating output is 2.5 kW with a 230 V power supply. According to the ARISTON technical data sheet, the electric heat-up time at ΔT = 45 °C is approximately 5 hours 30 minutes.

The integrated heat exchanger has a surface area of 0.7 m². It allows energy from a heating system or solar thermal installation to be used for domestic hot-water production, reducing the need for electric heating.

The inner tank is protected by a highly durable enamel coating treated at 850 °C. Additional corrosion protection is provided by a large magnesium anode.

ARISTON uses polyurethane foam insulation free from CFCs and HCFCs to reduce standing heat losses and retain stored-water temperature. Heat loss at 65 °C is specified at 2.7 kWh/24 h.

The model features external mechanical temperature adjustment, a sheathed electric heating element and Nanomix water-distribution technology to improve the utilisation of stored hot water.

Maximum operating pressure is 8 bar and the protection rating is IPX4. Hot- and cold-water connections as well as the heat-exchanger connections are 3/4".

ARISTON PRO R EVO VTS 200 is suitable for households with high domestic hot-water demand where a 200-litre hot-water reserve and the possibility of combining electric heating with heat from the heating system are required, together with a left-hand heat-exchanger connection.
