ARISTON PRO R EVO VTS 150 is a 150-litre combined storage water heater equipped with an electric heating element and an integrated coil heat exchanger. Domestic hot water can be produced either electrically or by using a boiler, solar thermal system or another suitable external heat source.

The model is designed for vertical installation. On the VTS version, the heat-exchanger connections are located on the left-hand side, making it suitable for installations where the heating-circuit pipes approach the cylinder from the left.

Electric heating output is 2.0 kW with a 230 V power supply. At a temperature rise of ΔT = 45 °C, ARISTON specifies a heat-up time of approximately 4 hours. Maximum operating temperature is 70 °C.

The integrated heat exchanger has a surface area of 0.7 m². It allows heat from the heating system or another external heat source to be used for domestic hot-water production, reducing the need for electric heating during the heating season.

The inner steel tank is protected by a durable enamel coating. ARISTON also uses an enlarged magnesium anode to help protect the tank against corrosion and extend its service life.

Thick polyurethane foam insulation reduces standing heat losses and helps maintain stored-water temperature. The manufacturer's specified heat loss at 65 °C is 1.65 kWh/24 h.

The water heater features external mechanical temperature adjustment and a thermostat with a bipolar safety device. The electric heating element is designed for increased resistance to limescale deposits.

Maximum operating pressure is 8 bar, while the enamelled tank is factory tested at 16 bar. The electrical protection rating is IPX4.

ARISTON PRO R EVO VTS 150 is suitable for households with higher domestic hot-water demand where electric water heating needs to be combined with heat from the heating system and a left-hand heat-exchanger connection is required.
