ARISTON PRO R EVO VTS 120 is a large-capacity combined storage water heater equipped with an electric heating element and an integrated heat exchanger. Domestic hot water can be produced either electrically or by using a boiler or another suitable heating-system heat source.

The model is designed for vertical installation. On the VTS version, the heat-exchanger connections are located on the left-hand side, making it suitable for installations where the heating-system pipes approach the cylinder from the left.

Electric heating output is 2.0 kW. At a temperature rise of ΔT = 45 °C, the manufacturer specifies a heat-up time of approximately 3 hours 20 minutes. Maximum operating temperature is 70 °C.

The integrated coil has a heat-exchange surface of 0.7 m². It enables heat supplied by the heating system to be used for domestic hot-water production, reducing the need for electric heating during the heating season.

The unit features an enamelled steel tank, enlarged magnesium anode and thick polyurethane thermal insulation. The manufacturer states that the tank is factory tested at 16 bar, while the maximum permitted operating pressure is 8 bar.

The electric heating element is designed for increased resistance to scale deposits. The construction also includes a thermostat with a bipolar safety device and external mechanical temperature adjustment.

Heat loss at 65 °C is 1.84 kWh/24 h. The model has an IPX4 protection rating, energy-efficiency class C and load profile L.

ARISTON PRO R EVO VTS 120 is suitable for households with a higher domestic hot-water demand where electric heating needs to be combined with heat supplied by the heating system and left-hand heat-exchanger connections are required.
